The Grand Rapids sample, live. Every control changes the proof in place, and the command under it reproduces the proof with flags the renderer has today.

inking the plate…

The proof is fixtures/activities.json rendered once with --web --transparent-bg and re-inked in your browser. It has no minor roads, and its text plate is drawn by this page. A real render draws its own.

All six ship in the binary. Edit any ink and the theme becomes <name>_proof, loaded with --themes-dir.

Basemap off prints --heat-only; paper off prints --transparent-bg. --anonymize changes no pixels; it strips the attributes and coordinates a published SVG would carry.
